What exactly is Super Tic Tac Toe?
Super Tic Tac Toe is a strategic board game that follows the basic Tic Tac Toe rules. Mega Tic Tac Toe, Ultimate Tic Tac Toe, and Tic Tac Toe on Nine Boards are all variations of Super Tic Tac Toe.
Game Rules
Super Tic Tac Toe is composed of nine ordinary Tic Tac Toe boards arranged in a 3x3 grid. Each board is played just like the original Tic Tac Toe, except that you cannot choose which board to play with (until the first move).
On his or her first move, a player may play on any of the nine boards.
The player must always play on the BOARD that corresponds to the previous CELL's position (both are in a 3x3 grid). If the board you're about to play on has already been resolved, you may (and must) choose another (unresolved) board.
Tips
The game is won by the first individual to get three BOARDS in a row. O is playing on the yellow board in this sample game, but it doesn't really matter. X has a chance to win the top-right board (the third in an up-right line), and hence the game, regardless of where O plays. We have nothing to say about Super Tic Tac Toe's absence of an obvious winning strategy. Winning a single Tic Tac Toe board, on the other hand, is clearly insignificant.
