What exactly is Footdle?

Footdle selected a player at random from the top 300 ranked players in Fifa 22's Top 5 Leagues. You have a total of 12 attempts to correctly identify the player. Players from England, Germany, Spain, Italy, and France are represented in the database. The level of difficulty is higher than on Wordle. Footdle, like the other versions, is limited to one game each day. Users can choose between the Toda challenge setting and a random challenge when playing games.

Gameplay Guidelines

You have 12 chances to get it right in this guessing game. You must select the correct name of the football player, who could be from any of the above-mentioned countries. When you win, you can post about it on social media and challenge others to a game. You must also decide the position, league, nation, and name of the football club, in addition to the player's name. Every day, users will be presented with a list of all possible players and must choose one to be the player for that day.

Every day, you'll receive a new clue about a mysterious gamer. The green color represents a correct match, whereas the red color indicates an incorrect match. To assist searches, practically every player from the Top 5 Leagues (ENG, GER, ESP, FR, IT) in the database is likely to be a higher-ranked player. If you still can't figure it out, try playing Footdle in "incognito mode."

The Position Map has been updated! Its purpose is to help you remember the locations you've already tried, as well as to notify you if you guessed any of the answer's secondary placements. Positions highlighted in ORANGE in Fifa 23 Career Mode are the player's secondary positions. Their main position is highlighted in GREEN, whereas the spots that fade to black are incorrect guesses.
