Hexle
Hexadecimal codes
Hex codes are base 16 digits that are used to represent colors on the internet (and elsewhere)!
Up to 16,777,216 distinct colors can be represented by a single 6-digit hex code!
Colors are represented using RGB (Red, Green, Blue) values. A hex code is made up of three pairs of digits. Each pair represents a precise amount of red, green, or blue (but only in that order!)
What exactly is Hexle?
Hexle is a one-of-a-kind and fascinating game that celebrates color language through hexadecimal codes. Hexle, created by a group of color enthusiasts and puzzle fans, is a stimulating challenge that uses both your creative sensibility and logical thinking.
Gameplay Guidelines
Determine the correct hexadecimal code for a given color in six tries.
Each guess must be a valid hexadecimal code with six characters consisting of numerals (0-9) and letters (A-F).
After each guess, the color tiles will provide feedback to assess how close your guess is to the correct code. Here's what the different colors mean:
- The green character is correct and in the correct place.
- The yellow character is correct but in the wrong location.
