What exactly is Polydle?

Polydle was inspired by Wordle, a popular word-guessing game that everyone can play and enjoy. To win, the player must correctly guess all of the polydactyl words in the smallest amount of time. If you immediately add to Polydle, you will have more options and challenges.

Polydle is a multi-grid Wordle version that lets you solve as many grids as you wish at once. You can solve up to 2315 grids at the same time. This means you can try to find all of the words in one game or solve random wordles across multiple grids. The more grids you complete, the more likely you are to succeed.

Gameplay Guidelines

Guess all of the Polydle words as quickly as you can. Each guess must be a five-letter word. Press Enter to enter your guess. After each guess, the colors will display how close you were to each sentence. Scroll left and right to see all of the words. Each unresolved word will be allocated a color.

Every day, new Polydles are published for each number and mode!
Green squares indicate that the letter is in the word and in the proper place.
Yellow squares indicate that the letter is present in the word but in the wrong place.
White squares indicate that the letter is not present in the word at all.

In Polydle, you guess multiple words at once with the same guess. Colors will be assigned to each one individually. You will no longer guess for a word after you have solved it. You have won when you have solved all of the words.

MODE

Classic

The purpose of classic mode is to have the fewest overall guesses across all terms. While there is no limit to the number of guesses permitted, n+5 (where n is the number of words) is a fair score to aim for.

Speed

In fast mode, it makes no difference how many guesses you make. The only thing that matters is how long it takes. Your goal is to get all of the words as rapidly as can, regardless of how many guesses are required.

Perfect

Perfect mode is a tad more difficult. The idea is that you want to perform flawlessly. To accomplish this, the game will start with the first word already inputted; simply hit Enter to start playing. It will then ensure that at least one column is always accessible where the clues thus far make the word for that column unique*. Your goal for each guess is to find a column where this is true and then identify the unique word. If you correctly guess this word, you'll gain further hints in other columns until every column can be uniquely defined.
