Spotle
What exactly is Spotle?
Spotle is an offshoot of Josh Wardle's popular Wordle. The principles of the game remain unchanged, and all Wordle rules apply. The new Black block (incognito block), which is Spotle's core property, is available.
The name was unknown for a long time. In previous Wordle versions, ending in 'tle' or 'le' was favored. While Spotle was the final winner, other names proposed included Staircastle, Staircase, and Maskle. Spotle was the best name we could think of. We apologize to Spotle.io (please check out their game as well), but we only found out about yours after we released ours.
Gameplay Guidelines
Spotle is playable on any modern device with a browser that supports it. If you're reading this, you can play Spotle. If you have a physical keyboard, simply type the appropriate word and hit Enter. The mouse can also be used to click on the on-screen keyboard. Use the on-screen keyboard if you're on a mobile device. It is not essential to pick the square to which a letter should be added because this is done automatically. It will be the first square to be accessible, similar to Wordle.
