NHL Grid
What exactly is NHL Grid?
The NHL Grid has captivated hockey fans by combining strategy, trivia, and critical thinking. This interactive puzzle engages fans by challenging them to match players with specific criteria, delving deep into the National Hockey League's rich history. Let's take a closer look at this intriguing challenge and see how it puts your NHL knowledge to the ultimate test.
Gameplay
The NHL Grid is a puzzle that combines hockey trivia with brain-teasing excitement. This is how it works:
Two Criteria, One Player: There are two criteria in each square of the NHL Grid. Your task is to identify a player who meets both of these requirements at some point during their hockey career.
Meeting the Criteria: In order to make a valid guess, the player must have met both criteria at some point during their career. For example, if the criteria are "TOR" (Toronto Maple Leafs) and "50+ goal season," the player must have played for the Maple Leafs and had a 50+ goal season, even if it was not exclusively for Toronto.
Team Inclusion: A player counts for a team if he or she has appeared in at least one game for that team during the franchise's history. A player who played one game for the Atlanta Thrashers, for example, would count for the Winnipeg Jets.
Guess Wisely: You have nine guesses total, and each square you tap on counts as one. The goal is to strategically match players to the criteria in order to make each guess count.
Redemption for Incorrect Guesses: Don't worry if you guess a player incorrectly! You may make the same guess once more. This allows you to correct your decision and get back on track.
