Only Up

Only Up! by SCKR Games is a paid platforming game inspired by the classic fairy tale Jack and the Beanstalk in which you assist Jackie, the teenage protagonist, to climb out of poverty by crossing a maze of pipes, rails, and sky trains. Although it is rather brief, keep in mind that it lacks a means for checking or preserving the state.

Only Up! Begin with Jackie in the slums, where you must find an elevator to get to higher ground. As you explore the slums, you'll see that the only thing that moves is the birds. Prepare to dash over small tunnels and climb or jump on objects as you ascend. Jackie can even leap on the bed to reach higher spots more quickly.

The complexity of transferring the area is projected to gradually increase. As a result, even minor errors might throw you back to the slums, which is quite irritating if you have made great progress. While there are no automatic or manual save features in this adventure game, it does teach you patience and endurance. It emphasizes the importance of making slow and steady advancement to the top.
