Wordle is a game inspired by word puzzles. Word jigsaw, word scramble, and word labyrinth are some other names for it. The goal of the game is to group letters together to form words. Sweardle is an offshoot of the popular word-guessing game Wordle. The player is given four chances to guess a four-letter word, with only English-language curse terms as possible solutions.

Sweardle has two players. Each player begins with ten letter tiles (two of which have two Vs). Players take turns placing one tile at a time on the board. If both users agree that they are creating a real word (in fact, only one real word), they can position their tile. If not, they must keep their tile and will use it again until their next turn.

The goal of the game is to have as many words as possible on the board when no more tiles can be added. Each player earns points based on the length of each word he creates during the game: Each letter is worth 5 points; each vowel is worth 3 points; each consonant is worth 1 point; and double letters or V's are worth 2 points. The player with the most points wins!
