Flip Spot

Flip Spot is a fast-paced physics arcade game built around jumping, flipping, and precise landings. Each jump puts your timing, reflexes, and movement control to the test. You guide a flipping character across challenging locations, moving from one platform to another while avoiding dangerous obstacles and trying not to fall. The simple controls are easy to learn, but getting every landing right takes practice.

How to Play Flip Spot

The main goal is to jump from a platform and land safely on the next one. Start by preparing your jump, then launch the character into the air. While airborne, hold the control to perform flips. The longer you hold it, the more your character rotates.

The key is knowing when to stop flipping. Release the control early enough to straighten the character and line up the feet with the landing platform. Every jump has a different distance and amount of airtime, so copying the same timing on every attempt will not always work.

Flip Spot Controls

On PC, use Space, W, or the Up Arrow to jump and perform flips. Hold the same key while in the air to rotate, then release it to prepare for landing. Press R to restart a failed attempt and Esc to pause. Mobile players can use the on-screen jump button with a similar hold-and-release system.

Tips for Better Flips

  • Study the distance: Check the gap between platforms before jumping.
  • Start with simple flips: A clean landing is more important than a complicated stunt.
  • Watch your feet: Your character's position gives you a useful clue about when to stop rotating.
  • Do not over-rotate: Holding the button for too long can turn a good jump into a crash.
  • Use quick retries: After falling, change one part of your timing and try again.
  • Practice your timing: Learning the airtime of each jump makes difficult landings easier.
